About The Event

Dates: April 10-13th, 2020 (lodging and all meals provided)

Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico 

Tuition: $650 (which includes all meals during training, lodging, swag, training material, facilitation compensation) Travel NOT include in ticket price. Attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements to the retreat site.

Description: Join 400+1’s L1 Collective in San Juan, Puerto Rico to explore how Ally investment in representative democracy can be dangerous, as the electoral system is often used as a tool against marginalized communities. Learn how to both vote and run in ways that lend themselves to the success of Black revolutionary struggle and avoid unintentionally positioning yourself against those you’ve sworn to support. 

Participants are responsible for their own lodging and travel.
